Swemix AB confirms that we understand our obligations according to Directive 2011/65/EU on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS) and Regulation 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).

We oblige to be informed of changes in the Candidate List to REACH, and provide the information to our customer.

According to RoHS, certain substances that are launched at markets are prohibited in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE), cables and spare parts. Homogeneous materials should not contain more than 0.1 % by weight of lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, polybrominated diphenyl ethers, phthalates (DEHP, BBP, DBP & DIBP) or 0.01 % by weight of cadmium. When it comes to lead as alloying elements in steel and aluminum as well as in copper alloys for example brass, there is an exemption to the prohibition, see below. We certify that our products are in accordance with the requirements set. As customer you are responsible for determining that your products are covered by the exceptions below.

Exemptions according to RoHS Annex III
