History

SWEMIX AB was founded in 1988 by Olof Forsberg and Thomas Bolmgren. Both men have backgrounds in the sale of mechanical components.

In the early part of the 90s, SWEMIX had already built up a considerable customer register. Soon a number of both small family companies and large Swedish export companies could be counted among the customers. Suppliers could be found both locally in the Gnosjö area as well as out in Europe.

New premises were built in 1992. The company now possessed a fully fledged organisation for administration, quality management and delivery.

Focus was changed slightly in the beginning of 2000. The company now chose to invest more in its own manufacture. SWEMIX became joint owners of a company focused in cutting processes.

Over the following years, a further three local companies were acquired within turning, milling and sheet-metalworking.
